Ordering A Floorcloths & Custom Design

What are your options in choosing a floorcloth design?

I have some creations on hand and some of these can be viewed on Floorcloths for Sale page.  Or..you may want to custom create your floorcloths with me.
A few things to ponder before creating.

  •  Take some time to examine the area you want the rug.
  • Determine the color scheme that would compliment that area.
  • Decide what type of design you would like to have on the rug and what colors you would like painted on them.  I use Sherwin Williams and Folk Art paint, so you can go to your local retailers and get color ideas.
  • Contact me, either by the Contact Us page with your ideas and questions or call me at 336-407-7850.  We can converse either way and come up with a plan to get your rug created.

Ordering Your Floorcloth

Once we have determined your size, pattern & colors, your creation begins.
1/3 of Floorcloth price is required paid down to ensure good faith in order.  When this is received via Pay Pal or Check (when cleared)
After downpayment is received, the work will be completed at the agreed upon time.  This varies per size of the floorcloth.  Minimum time to create a floorcloths is the small size and that takes a 24 hour process.  Your floorcloth will be shipped in tubular mailing package.  Unfold and let settle flat naturally.  Usually 1 day is all required.  Then sit back and look and enjoy the floorcloth!!
 Caring for your floorcloth
These floorcloths can last for decades if you take care of them properly. No undermat is required. Just lay flat on hardwood, tile or granite floors.  To elongate their life you may add a coat of polyurethane after 5 years or so.  However, I haven't added anything to mine (pictured above) in the 5 years it has been in front of my stove.  And I cook alot and stand on this everyday.  You may choose to store yours for whatever reason, whether it is holiday themed etc.. to store your floorcloth.  Loosely roll it (design facing inward) tubular fashion and put in a place where it won't be creased.  Under a bed, in a closet top standing on end. etc.. or keep flat and place under bed or furniture.  Wipe it occasionally with warm soapy cloth.  That's it!
